Many people need help with day to day living as they get older, and would like to stay in their home as long as possible. One of the most popular ways to do this is through assisted living. You can rent an apartment in our facility with health care provided on site. This type of living allows you to furnish your apartment with your own furnishings, receive the assist needed and also attend activities and opportunities for socialization as you wish.
We seek to enhance the spiritual, physical, and social health of the elders we serve, while ensuring their independence, security, and self-esteem. We respect each tenants spiritual preferences. We encourage social activities and to share their unique talents and interests.
The staff is dedicated to promote independence but are trained to assist with the natural aging process as it occurs. I am a Registered Nurse and we also have another full time registered nurse who is available to deal with any medical concerns.
I am the administrator for Whispering Pines and The Lodge and work in close connection with the directors in each building. I have worked in health care in this community for over 28 years and feel honored to be able to work back at Whispering Pines and The Lodge in this wonderful Assisted Living Campus.
